So, anyone have trouble registering a trailer after a restoration? I have the required paperwork, etc, butI'm worried about the lights - I have looked at the required lights for trailers in BC, but I don't have anything close on mine. Is there considerations for vintage trailers?

As far as I know. BC does accept original lights on the trailer no upgrade necessary . Being a 67 I'm sure it has Brake, turn, and tail lights. Are you asking about the Colour? Your license plate should be illuminated as well.
if the trailer has registered in BC before you don't require an inspection, unless it was black-flagged. ( taken off the road)

Looking at your pics, It looks like the lower lights were added and the uppers are original. and in the middle is where your plate was.
If you can get at the wiring when doing the inside of your trailer, that would be a great time to redo it. Adding a 3rd brake light (Where your plate will go) is a pain, I didn't do it

OK, thanks. I was worried about side ambers and reds, or clearnce lights on the top front. It was registered here already, so I guess it's OK. Getting at the wiring is definitely not a problem at the moment - there are no walls, roof or floor!!!
Cheers!

sounds like your going hard at it. fantastic. you should be ready to camp by June Ha Ha. Orange lights on the back are OK. My 1972 MG Midget had orange light. I don't have clearance lights up top on my Trailer. Here is a thought, If your going to have batteries in your trailer, you may want to switch to a 7 pin plug. Your car/truck can charge them while on the road.

Good tip, thanks! I was just shopping at Princess Auto the other day - I don't know if I can afford to finish this project by this summer!
